Smit Panchal Architects is a multidisciplinary design practice, started in Ahmedabad in June, 2020. We design every project with an extremely passionate eye and believe in the simplicity of design to create beautiful complex spaces which appeal to its social and physical context. We love to create spaces that are multi functional, high on utility and sensitive to the requirements of the end user. Architecture should indeed not only look beautiful but also feel beautiful and appeal to the other senses of the human being. We follow an exhaustive but yet meditative research driven process of design, and draw inspiration from just about anything that pleases us. The studio is engaged in both Architectural as well as Interior Design Projects. We enjoy doing Holiday Homes , stand alone Architectural projects, Residential Interiors as well as Commercial Spaces.

Founder and Principal Architect of Smit Panchal Architects (SP-A). Smit completed his Bachelor of Architecture from Institute of Architecture, Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (2015), Patan and Master of Urban Planning from Institute of Design, Swarrnim Start up and Innovation University (2020), Gandhinagar. He is a Faculty at school of Design, Swarnnim Start up and innovation University, Gandhinagar.

The wide range of projects in which he has been involved evidences his versatility as an architect. These include sectors such as commercial, hospitality, residential and urban-planning. His technical and construction experience, working in every aspect of overall project delivery including cost and schedule management, enables him to work with the client and design team to achieve the project’s goals and vision. As a managing partner, he uses his diverse knowledge and experience to guide the architectural, engineering, and client teams to work together to deliver highly successful projects. With over 9 years of professional experience, his focus has been in the “making” of buildings offering simple and artful solutions to complex problems that entail immense technical knowledge and a profound attention to detail. Smit’s approach to design responds to individual context and enables integration of both the natural and built environment. In collaboration with his clients, he focuses on developing creative and innovative solutions that meet both aesthetic and pragmatic requirements, allowing buildings to positively impact the environment, while addressing the specific needs of inhabitants. Before starting his own practice, Smit interned at I-con Architects and Urban planners in Ahmedabad and as an Architect at Hiren Patel Architects (HPA), in Ahmedabad.
