About
“ Architecture has to be experienced by all the senses as it has the power to evoke emotions. ”Collage Architecture Studio was founded in 2009, ideated a year ago by the three apostles, we have voyaged through different oceans of challenges and cohesively evolved into a multi-disciplinary studio. The domain of our projects ranges from Architectural, residential, interiors, commercial and multi-level Housing Ventures.
As a firm, we believe every project is unique and the winds of change are gearing for a switch. Our enthusiasm and love for design is perceived by understanding client requirements and delivering them to the absolute along with the passion that we possess for each stroke and detail that goes on the paper. The three founders of Collage Architecture Studio – Swapnil Valvatkar, Adwitha Suvarna and Arunkumar Deivanayagam ideated the firm in 2008, having worked at Chandravarkar & Thacker Architects and later at Mindspace architects, the trio strives to create an architectural vocabulary that encompasses diverse aspects of design under a simple parasol by acclimating to the contemporary solutions with innovation.
Design Philosophy
Design depths are often complexly defined and emerge from perspectives but a pristine design beholds a unified outlook despite the diversity of its origin, such designs, rather are impeccable and true to its simplest form, serves and projects its objective, and its flexibility. Architecture has plenty of definition and theories, some are postulates and many are derived perceptions of practice. One can simply put aside all complexities and design through context by responding to micro and macro factors that participate in the immediate frame of reference, it is generally the process and approach that determines the outcome of design.
At Collage architecture studio, we strive to bring out the best through these fundamentals, tweaking it further with contemporary innovation to produce a peerless design. We capture the anomalies through details and transcend to the ideal solution, by integrating it with creativity and innovation. Through all these years, we have learnt that architecture is a matter of transformation. Transformation of perspectives, ideas and thoughts that can help us improve, grow and create spaces that become timeless.
