S3D is an architectural collaborative headed by the triumvirate Anirudha Dehade, Nimesh Shah and Ashish Amin. It was incepted in the year 2006. Built around the overlapping design ideologies of three diverse individuals, the firm strives to attain innovative architectural and interior design solutions through their work. Today, S3D has grown in to a vibrant team of about 20 designers and works on a wide spectrum of building types and projects like High Rise apartments, Public buildings like stadium, Community Housing, Institutional Buildings, Commercial Spaces and Retail Spaces.Simply put, we bring spaces to life.
Constantly aiming to experiment, the firm strives to bring about a fine balance between innovation and practicality through rigorous architectural explorations. The fundamentals of architectural design –form, space, functionality and environmental responsibilities remain cornerstone of design process that is rightly termed and practiced as ‘sensibly sustainable’. The team focuses on ‘context and identity’ and struggles to find Indian voice and sensibility through design processes rooted essentially in western traditions. Subtle and minimal design elements adhere to idea of delivering rich ambience and humble spaces.
